Swim:不及物动词：游水，游泳，浮游，漂浮，漂流，等等。及物动词：游过，与…比赛游泳，泡(在水中)，。。。名词：游泳，浮动，浮现，滑走，。。。Bathe: 洗澡及物动词：（根据语境）把…浸泡在液体中 (in)，给…洗澡，笼罩，包覆(全身)，润湿，浸在(日光中)，。。。不及物动词：洗澡，沉浸，沐浴 (in).名词：(英国)(在河、海中的)游泳在北美 bath 是名词， bathe 是动词：Sally was giving the baby his bath when you called.Sally was bathing the baby when you called.上面 bathing 是 bathe 的进行式，发音是 bathe’ing，不是 bathing。
在bathe是游泳的旧时用法，现在不常用，现在常用法是swimswim 游泳bathe 洗澡
